Job Brief


We are a strategic digital agency based in the Upper Highway area, looking for a motivated and self-driven Account Director to partner with and ensure the long-term success of a number of our clients.

Responsibilities


  • Gain a thorough understanding of the client’s business and associated brands.
  • Be responsible for developing long-term relationships with your given portfolio connecting with key digital managers and brand managers.
  • Liaise between the client and cross-functional internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of the allocated portfolio.
  • Coordinate and prepare proposals for briefing with costs, scope of work etc.
  • Develop clear and directional creative briefs based on strategic brand objectives and client requirements.
  • Continually monitor and measure project status to ensure on time delivery.
  • Communicate clearly the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to Client Services Director.
  • Forecast and track key account metrics.
  • Provision of weekly status documents, project plans, timings and tracking against them.
  • Work closely with partner media, PR, content, BTL and ATL, and partner agencies.
  • Setting up of regular strategy meetings to ensure a cohesive delivery of plans and strategy.
  • Share global best practice and social media landscape.
  • Provision of project plans, timings and tracking against them.
  • Management of risk and issues log for key projects/campaigns
  • Attendance of weekly project team meetings

Requirements


  • A minimum of five to ten years’ experience in account management/client service, three of those within a digital agency, with experience on web, social media, advertising, SEO and research
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organisation
  • Strong organisational and planning capabilities
  • Attention to detail together with an ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • You will be required to think strategically, be an excellent communicator and have strong presentation skills.
  • Team player and excellent leadership skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Weekly travel required
  • A tertiary qualification in advertising/marketing
