Digitlab
At Digitlab, we combine a flexible, virtual workplace with a strong focus on delivery. Our team works hard, gets things done and values the freedom to bring smart ideas to life.
We work with clients who need connected digital thinking across content, CRM, websites, campaigns, SEO and customer experience. As part of our team, your design work will help shape how brands show up, communicate and grow.
This role is suited to someone who enjoys the craft of design, but also understands that great creative work needs to be practical, consistent, commercially useful and delivered on time.
Job Description
As a Digital Designer, you will design and deliver creative work across social media, digital advertising campaigns, brand assets, presentations, emailers, eBooks and WordPress websites using Elementor.
You will work closely with copywriters, client service, strategists and the wider creative team to produce work that is visually strong, strategically aligned and built for the digital channels where people engage.
We are looking for T-shaped people to join our team.
For this role, that means you should have strong depth in digital design, while being able to work confidently alongside related disciplines such as content, strategy, social media, paid media, websites, CRM and client service.
You do not need to be an expert in all of these areas. But you do need to understand how your design work connects to the wider digital ecosystem, and how to collaborate with the people responsible for those areas.
Primary Responsibilities
As a Digital Designer at Digitlab, you will take on a range of creative and production-focused responsibilities to deliver high-quality digital work for our clients.
Digital Design: Create design work for social media, digital campaigns, websites, presentations, emailers, reports and other digital brand touchpoints.
Campaign Creative: Develop campaign assets that support client objectives across paid media, organic content, email, landing pages and sales enablement.
Social Content: Create engaging social media creative, including static posts, carousels, campaign graphics, basic video edits and simple animations.

Layout and Typesetting: Apply strong layout, typography and typesetting skills across web, social, presentation and document-based design work.
WordPress and Elementor: Support website page design, visual updates and content layouts in WordPress using Elementor. This is not a full development role, but confidence working in WordPress is important.
Video and Motion: Create basic motion design, video edits and animated assets for digital channels where required.
Brief Interpretation: Interrogate briefs, ask good questions and identify when a design request may not solve the real communication problem.
Creative Development: Bring ideas to life across different media while ensuring the work remains aligned to the client’s brand, objectives and audience.
Design Production: Prepare final artwork and design assets correctly, including clean vector files, optimised file sizes, linked or embedded assets and appropriate export formats.
File Management: Manage, organise and maintain file structures, design folders, logos, product images and other creative assets.
Problem-Solving: Resolve practical design and production issues, including finding, converting, cleaning up or adapting file formats and design assets.
Collaboration: Work closely with copywriters, client service, strategists and the creative team to generate ideas and deliver work that meets brand and campaign goals.
Presentation Support: Ensure all design elements are completed on time, error-free and ready for client presentations.
Quality Control: Review work carefully before delivery, checking for design quality, spelling, formatting, alignment, consistency and technical accuracy.
Creative Reasoning: Explain design decisions clearly and document work where needed.
Task Management: Track time, manage deadlines and keep work updated through the company’s task management platform.
Technology Awareness: Stay up to date with design, social media, web, AI and digital content tools that can improve creative quality and workflow efficiency.
Red Flag Thinking: Raise concerns early when a brief, timeline, brand direction or design approach may create issues later.
